He was surrounded by family and friends, including his loving husband, William.
Assistant Chief Collum dedicated 29 years of service to this department and his beloved community.
He will be remembered not only for all of his accomplishments and charitable works but also for being an amazing husband, loyal friend, passionate leader, and trusted mentor to many.
He was a true hero in every sense and will be greatly missed by his loved ones, his CVPD family, and the community.
