Parma Police Chief James Blair regrets announcing the death of Officer Kandice Straub. Officer Straub joined the Parma Police Department in December of 2019 and was the first female officer appointed to the Parma Police SWAT Team.
Chief Blair stated, “We are deeply saddened by Officer Straub’s sudden passing. She always lit up a room with her smile as well as her beautiful soul.
Her courageous spirit was infectious to those she worked with.
