Benjamin Ernst Motorcycle Accident: 65-Year-Old Man Died in Montgomery County Motorcycle Crash

The Montgomery County coroner has identified the victim, who died on Tuesday, April 16, on Needmore Road following a crash involving a motorcycle and a semi.

According to Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent E. Harshbarger, the victim has been identified as 65-year-old Benjamin Ernst.

The cause and manner of death have not been determined.

This is an ongoing investigation.

What Happened to Benjamin Ernst

A deadly traffic crash closed a section of road in Montgomery County Tuesday, April 16.

According to a social media post by Dayton Police Department, Needmore Road was closed between Hollywood Boulevard and Webster Street around 2 p.m.

A Dayton 24/7 The crew on scene could now see that the crash involved a motorcycle and a semi.

A spokesperson with Dayton Police confirmed with us that the motorcycle driver died from injuries in the crash.
